Does the agent run on some special AI model?
No, on the same models: GPT, Claude, Gemini and others. What makes them an agent is the tools and the permission to take steps on their own.
Is it safe to let the agent act on its own?
In Vexic the agent works in a closed workspace of a separate chat. It has no access to your computer unless you install the Windows app and allow it, and it reaches connected services only within the limits you allowed.
Is an agent more expensive than a regular chat?
A task with many steps uses more of your limit than a single answer. Usage depends on the model and the amount of work.
